The Me too movement

Women have done a big favor to themselves by launching the Me too movement. It is a quiet revolution happening right under our watch. The system would not help. Some of the heads rolling would have been untouchable by the system. But ordinary women, just by speaking out is doing more than any justice system in the world. I am really impressed by my gender. Only women could do come up with such a master plan.

Imran Khan becomes prime minister of Pakistan winning elections on his own terms. A true victory without any compromises of ethics. Good luck to Imran Khan and Pakistan. I am sure tons of good news will spring forth from that region in coming years under the captaincy of Imran Khan.

The problem with Israeli and Palestinian extremists

Extremists among Palestinians and Israelis want the other party to just go away. Palestinians in the Gaza strip want to return to ancestral land. But that land is now new country. The past is gone. Similarly, settlers want to take over Hebron in West Bank because their ancestors lived there. Not possible. Some may argue that establishing Israel was unfair to Palestinians. But even the unfair people drew boundaries and gave Palestinians a country. Let us give Palestinians a country again. Even Israel knows without peace there will never be real security.

Three state solution - Israel and Palestine

Three state solution (Israel, West Bank, Gaza) seems the best in the Israel Palestine conflict. These boundaries formed naturally over time. Hence are true boundaries. One may argue that Gaza will be ruled by extremists. In reality all three states have the same risk factor. That region never had self governance. Yes, not even Israel.

Oprah Winfrey for president? Yes indeed!

Oprah will make a good president after the Trump era. She probably wont have to fight too hard to win the elections either. Americans love her and she always had the last word. A very grand lady, quite centered, and kind. Great choice for the first female president of America.

The Trump effect

Trump has provided the much needed comic relief in international politics. The world has stopped looking at America to solve their problems knowing too well that Donald Trump will spend no American resources except to give some opinions in the choicest words. Hence many problems are getting solved without American involvement and that is a good thing. Donald Trump also relies heavily on military men for war advice and everyone knows that the military will easily give up their lives at stupid commands from their political leaders and yet hate unnecessary wars more than anyone else. Meanwhile Donald Trump is busy looking for business opportunities for America. Thus it is all good for America. The media has treated Donald Trump poorly but History will judge him fairly.

Why the Israel-Palestinian conflict is a two state solution

The Jewish people need a country. If Israel and Palestine were to be one country, clearly Jewish people will be outnumbered. Without true democracy apartheid and terrorism will persist. Both the Jewish people and Palestinians have no real home except where they are now. It is better to draw a sensible border and then people who decide to stay on one side of the border become citizens of that state.
